I'm thinking of getting one for myself. We were happy. We bought this as a gift for my Dad and his girlfriend. They were happy.
The sound is much better than I anticipated. This stereo is definitely one of the best purchases I have made for myself in a long time. This stereo arrived today, and I have not been able to stop listening to it. I have played CDs, cassettes, and the radio as well. I highly recommend it. With a 1940s look and the ability to play all of my old 45s, I could not be happier. Every scratch on my old records is just a memory from the past.
The turntable and cd player works very well and has good sound quality The knob on the tuner is really hard to turn. Otherwise it is sturdy and arrived without any scratches or nicks.
Has everything one needs in one place with a great "antique" look. Very nice.
I couldn't be happier with this purchase. And the price was fantastic. First off, I'll say that my stereo came in more of a cherry color--which actually worked out better for me, but may not for some. But this is exactly what I was looking for; it looks great in my living room and is loud enough to fill my one level house with music.
